I teach U.S. History through cooking, as well as incorporating other hands on activities. I am very passionate about food and teaching children to be not only self sufficient in the kitchen but excited about sharing what they have learned with their family and friends. I started teaching cooking to preschoolers in 2003, then when I started homeschooling I taught cooking to older children out of my own kitchen incorporating US History and Geography. I am an artist at heart; I use various mediums drawing, painting, and most recently creating jewelry.
