FAQs
What is the age range at Trellis? Students ages 10-20 (5th-12th grade/Middle-High School) may attend Trellis
Is Trellis affiliated with any religion? No. Trellis does not promote any specific religion. Although we are on an Episcopalian campus, we simply rent the space and are not affliated with the church.
Is Trellis a political school? No. Trellis is apolitical. We have classes that discuss history and politics in an open and curious way. Many of our students are active in the world’s political climate and respectful discussions on politics and governmental systems can be heard on campus. However, we also have just as many discussions on D&D and Pokemon.
Are students grouped by age or grade level? We believe that students learn by being in classes and in community with different ages. We also understand that some classes are best suited for students that are closer in age. We offer both.
Does Trellis accept neurodivegent or differing abilities students? Yes, we accept all students, however we do not offer specific support. If your student needs specialized care and/or support, that is the responsibility of the parents. If an aide is needed, they will need a livescan to be on the Trellis campus.
How much is Trellis? Trellis offers different classes and programs, our individual classes range from $150-$660 depending on how many hours and weeks each class is. All classes and their pricing are listed on our registration site.
How can I pay for classes/camps/events? We accept credit cards and charter funds (note: charter funds may not be used for summer camps). Payment can be made in full or in partial payments. You will be given options during the checkout process while registering.
Does Trellis accept charter funds? We are proud to be vendors and accept funds from the following California Homeschool Charter Schools: Blue Ridge Academy, ilead, Sky Mountain, Sage Oak, and Suncoast.
