Introducing Parent Ed at Trellis.
As part of our mission to support the whole family on their educational journey, we are having our first Parent Education night at Trellis this month.
At Trellis, we believe that nonviolence is a keystone of self-directed learning. We are committed to providing an environment where homeschooling students can be themselves and where classes and experiences support students taking charge of their education. We also know that in order for tweens + teens to be able to shape themselves, it’s important that they have nurturing adults around them. So, we’ve asked Ruth Beaglehole, nonviolence activist and advocate of social justice for younger human beings, to come talk with us.
A Q&A session will follow the Ruth’s talk. Please let us know if there are any struggles you are currently having and would like addressed during her talk or if you have any other questions. We hope you can make it!
*If, for any reason, the tickets are a financial hardship for you, please let us know, and we can make accommodations.
