I teach film production and screenwriting with a primarily hands-on or workshop approach, combined with some lecture. I am a filmmaker, love collaboration, and am currently working on financing on my second independent feature and developing a cooking show pilot. I have been a screenwriter for 26 years and a producer and director for over 20 years, including live improv and sketch comedy, independent shorts, documentaries, music videos, and feature films. Outside of teaching, I skateboard, snowboard, dabble in music (I am a former saxophone major in college), go to a lot of concerts, travel, and love soccer.
